SPECIAL NOTICE FOR FOOD VENDORS

You are invited to participate in the Bush
Hill Heritage Festival,
a daylong festival of Entertainment, Crafts, Children’s Area events
and of course good food.

NO Silly String or No Marshmallow Shooters
will be sold at the festival.
No Pets. No toy guns of any kind
(water pistols included) are allowed to be sold or brought to the
festival.
In a
Nutshell: This is a festival that celebrates
heritage/handcrafts/cultural arts. Artists are encouraged to
demonstrate their craft as well as display finished pieces.
Although the majority of items will be handmade, certain
commercial items will also be accepted. Please include
pictures of commercially made items you want to sell with
application. Participants
must report their own sales tax. You will
also need to provide your own tables, tents, chairs, and if
needed, extension cords to electrical supply. Your
display should not exceed the allotted space. All spaces will
be reserved for the exhibitors despite weather conditions.
Because of the preparation required, there will be no rain
date. The fee is non-refundable and payable in advance by
August 1, 2010 (late fees
apply after this date).
Also, all fees after this
date must be paid by certified check, cash or money order.
Location:
Trindale Road (N.C. 62) between Main Street (U.S. 311) and
Archdale Road, W. White Drive, Bonnie Place and Hillcrest Lane.

Food
Booths: All food booths will be approved by the Bush Hill
Committee. Food preparations must follow guidelines of the
Randolph County Health Department. Several rules have changed
this year. Please see note on back of application.
Open fires and gas grills must meet city, county and health
department codes and are subject to inspection. Call the fire
marshal at 336-431-2512 for fire regulations.
Also note on application, we have
limited the number of food vendors serving the same kinds of
foods.
Electricity: Anyone needing electricity should fill in the
necessary fields on the application. Electricity will be limited
and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be an
additional $100 charge per space for household current, 110/220
volts (you must include amps needed on the application). Please
be specific about appliances and personal generators or you
cannot be assured of having power in your space.
Booths:
Each booth must be set up after 6 a.m., open at 9 a.m. and
cannot be dismantled before 4 p.m. Only two
vehicles per vendor to be on street at set up. All participants
must keep their booths manned during these hours. The area must
be cleared by 5 p.m.
Large trailers,
food trailers, etc. will be issued special times to set up.
Registration Deadline: August 1, 2010. Confirmation letters and instructions will be mailed after August
20, 2010. **After Aug. 1, all fees must be paid by money
order, certified check or cash.
