We have several new writers this year including a 6-yr. old boy named Brandon Killian of Sophia. He will be selling the children’s book he wrote and illustrated.

This program encourages and promotes leadership, good will towards others, and community involvement. Our program strives to develop self confidence, poise and the natural beauty of young girls. The purpose of The Bush Hill Festival Princess Program is to promote the Bush Hill Festival and the Archdale/Trinity Community at pageants and festivals around the state. Winners are required to attend the 2010 Friday Night Heritage Event and the 2010 Bush Hill Festival, the Archdale Christmas parade, the Trinity Fourth of July celebration and the 2010 Bush Hill Heritage Festival Princess Pageant.

The 8th Annual Classic Car & Truck Show will be held in the front parking lot of Sechrest Funeral Service.
Classic Cars & Trucks:
Prizes awarded for Top 10 (voted on by peers), Mayors’ Choice and Best of Show.
Antique Tractors must be pre-1976:
Prizes awarded for Best Restored, Most Unique and Most Votes by Peers.
Import Cars: Prizes awarded for Top Three.
Dash plaques to the first 75 to register.

Voting ends at 3 p.m. Saturday. Winners will be announced at 4 p.m.


The annual Bush Hill 5K Run and Walk & Talk (sponsored by The Carl & Linda Grubb Family YMCA) will be held prior to the festival on Sept. 11, with competitive and non-competitive events. The course begins in front of Archdale Plaza on Archdale Road, encompassing part of Westwood Subdivision, Playground Road, Eden Terrace, and ending before Hwy 62. Proceeds from entries and sponsorships benefit the Carl & Linda Grubb Family YMCA of Archdale-Trinity Youth Programs. Entry Form and Details
